Hello and thanks for stopping by. My name is Troy Amundson and I am the owner/luthier here at Old Soul Musical Instruments. I am 13 years into this buisness, 11 years since I sold my first musical instrument, a ukulele.
I have spent 10's of 1000's of hours studying the art of Lutherie which is the profession of a stringed instrument craftsman. Add on a few 1000 more hours spent finding tool's and resources and a few 1000 more spent designing, then add on 1000's of shop hours building and you will find me here today.
I am all about fighting for the guy who wants more but doesn't have enough- I help make his dreams possible. A custom handbuilt instrument or parts is often unobtainable to most but I do this out of pure passion and the joy I get when someone takes hold of one of my guitars and say's "It's there!! Thats what I have been trying to find all along...". To me there's no bigger payoff than that.
Most people who have taken the step to inquire on my instruments are blown away by the value I offer them- Made in America with knowledge, love and skill- at Import pricing. I don't believe in setteling for less,
you shouldn't have to either!
